Purpose of system construction
Purpose of the system construction is to upgrade visual meter reading and manual journal creation in neutralization plant to automatic periodical data collection and journal creation.
System feature
Simple and easy-to-understand system construction
The system aims to build a less expensive system than full-fledged instrumentation equipment by using more flexible software than packaged monitoring software.
The system is a stripped-down system and is simple and easy to understand.
Introduction of remote I/O system
Traditionally, equipments were installed in a distant place from a sequencer that required wiring work between the sequencer and the equipments.
Introdcution of the remote I/O system requires only transmission line, so a less expensive system is realized.
Redundancy
The PC installed in a work site is in a severe environmental conditions, so, the PC is in a high risk environment for long-term use.
The system has two PCs for load sharing, one for information collection and the other for journal output. Once the PC for information collection goes down, the system switches the PC for journal output to collect information.
