Development of production control system
This is a control system of production line in a certain semiconductor-related fab. The system controls process and inspection at every process station by wafer in accordance with received processing request data and processing instruction data based on customer specification.

Purpose of the system is reduction of production cost by verifying various processing requests from customer with the inspection data of each processing station to judge most effective production process automatically. Also, the system supports yield control by tallying and booking massive amount of processing data.
Feature of system
“Uniform management of incoming of material to shipment of product”
The system controls not only processing in factory (process control) but also unifies management of inventory (material and product) to data control, supervisory control and process direction in a series of process flow including support of various server maintenance .
Communication with semiconductor equipments
The system communicates with the equipments (measuring equipments, industrial robots) suppied by manufacturers and controls their motion and collects their performance data. SECS protocol is used for communication with some of the semiconductor equipments.
Linkage of hand-held device
Handheld device is used for monitoring of product inventrory.
Data is updated in real time from hand-held device by interlocking with production control system through wireless LAN.
Redundancy of database, load sharing
The system runs 24/7 continuorsly, so two servers are built with OracleRAC (Real Application Clusters) in case of system failure. The system is RAC configuration, and the two servers are all the time interlocking with one another to load share.
